Espinosa Jr. received a publication grant of P100,000 from the office for Cultural Cooperation of the Government of Spain, based at the Ateneo de Manila University for his translation project of the "Monografias de los Pueblos de la Isla de Panay (Monographs of the Towns of the Island of Panay)."
